5 colors of liquid egg dye with less concentration of synthetic colorants - yellow, pink, red, blue, green; 1 sachet with fixator; cotton swab; dry hydrangea blossoms; a piece of fabric; a pair of gloves; instructions for use
PREPARATION OF THE EGG: Boil the eggs in salted water. If possuble use smaller and white eggs. Dissolve the contents of the sachet of the fixator in 150 ml of hot water and add four tablespoons of vinegar. Boil the eggs and cool them. Rub them with a cotton swab soaked with the solution of the fixator. Leave them for one hour to dry. Only use white eggs!
PREPARATION OF DYES: Cut the tips of the vials with egg dyes and pour each color into a separate bowl. Add one tablespoon of vinegar and 150 ml water with room temperature.
EGG DYEING: Dip the dried flowers into a glass of warm water for about 10 minutes to soften. Place a 10 x 10 cm piece of fabric on a flat surface. Set the flowers on the fabric and place one boiled egg on them. Take the four corners of the fabric and wrap the egg tightly. Immerse it in the paint solution for 5 - 10 seconds. Soak the excess solution with household paper. Repeat the dip in another paint and dry again. Finally, remove the net and the blossoms.
